Kayaking

KAYAKING: Here at Shannon River Adventure we use single and double sit-on-top kayaks , along with the more traditional cockpit kayak (for the more experienced!). Kayaking here is a sport for all ages and abilities.

All activities, including Kayak trips, are instructor-led.

Cost: (minimum 4 persons) €45.00 per adult and €35.00 per child (under 18s)

 Choose the session for you:

• A fun splash in the harbour as a stand-alone activity or part of a package
• A paddle around the River Shannon where you’ll experience the tranquil waters of Lough Bofin and Lough Boderg and take in the beautiful flora and fauna while enjoying the freedom of the wide-open lake – BOOK NOW

CANOEING – or open boating as it’s also known – is more relaxed than Kayaking and is great for groups who’d like to take a more chilled out trip. Canoes can take up to 4 is the perfect way to explore the scenic lakes surrounding Shannon River Adventure. We provide all equipment required, including wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets, paddles.
