I have used Shannon River Adventure for senior camping trips with my school for the last 3 years. It is an unbeatable experience for both teachers and students. Disconnecting from the digital world and reconnecting with each other face to face. This trip is well-being on a very real level. Engaging with each other in team building activities,building and strengthening relationships-this trip should be on the curriculum of every post primary school.

Thanks for a brilliant two days at Shannon River Adventure Centre. It was great to go to a centre so experienced with the Gaisce Award. Students and staff were looked after from start to finish. The freedom offered during the island stay was a fantastic benefit to the transition year students. Overall, students were very happy not to have their phones. Communication with the centre was excellent and we really appreciate the late booking acceptance. A 5-star experience and we will be back next year.
