We did 3 days, 2 nights here and, although we found it challenging at times, we thoroughly enjoyed the camping experience on the island. Sitting around the campfire, singing and playing games. I would genuinely recommend this experience.

Many thanks to all the team for a wonderful experience with our TY students. Without a doubt this was a trip with a difference. Many of our students struggled with a loss of ‘normal’ luxuries but we had many ‘overcomes’!!

From start to finish, from the greeting we got off the bus on arrival, to the farewell, there wasn’t a moment where the kids weren’t active in some form of game or activity. The two days were very well structured, with friendly staff making the experience even more enjoyable. Food was lovely, camping fun. Both teachers and students had a great time.

Thanks once again to all at Shannon River Adventure. The instructors were excellent, even better this year than previous years –which is impressive. The students really enjoyed themselves as did Dan and I. Look forward to returning again next year. Mark Kennedy and Dan Broderick
